What’s missing are experts who push on with the challenges involved – such as digitalisation, electromobility and the energy transition. The online study programme in Electrical Engineering is, therefore, primarily concerned with perfect hardware handling, which is only possible with an in-depth understanding of software. This is achieved primarily by developing solid expertise in electrical and electronic circuits and systems, as well as the latest methods used in industry and research.

To achieve this, in addition to the application of classical teaching methods, state-of-the-art software tools are the central components used when teaching about electrical systems. These range from sound systems theory to modern applications, and from high-voltage systems to nanoelectronics
